Virtua Fighter Gets A Trademark Renewal From Sega

Recommended Videos

We haven’t heard much about Sega’s fighting game franchise Virtua Fighter in a good while, but the company recently renewed the trademark for the 3D fighting game series. [Thanks, Shoryuken.]

Other than guest character in other games, we haven’t really seen or heard about Virtua Fighter. While a trademark renewal is quite a common thing for companies, mostly to protect them, it’s always good to see Sega dust off one of the more beloved fighting game series from the past. Perhaps there’s a chance that we may finally hear of a new title.
