Square Enix Trademarks “Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth,” Possibly A New Tokyo RPG Factory Title

Recommended Videos

Square Enix registered a new trademark in Japan for “Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth,” or “You and the Labyrinth of Fog.” Going by the naming style, sounds a lot like a new Tokyo RPG Factory title. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

Tokyo RPG Factory made their first game, I am Setsuna, a throwback RPG that released in Japan in February earlier this year, where it’s called Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna, and the naming of the new trademark sounds quite similar.

While Square Enix saw a big loss from Tokyo RPG Factory’s first title with a 244 million yen deficit, this could be an attempt at another chance for the studio. Or it could just be a new mobile game. In any case, we’ll likely hear about it sometime soon.
