Yakuza 6: The Song of Life Shows Off Its Impressive Water Simulation Effects

During CEDEC 2016, Sega showed off Yakuza 6: The Song of Life’s technology behind its special effects. The footage was also livestreamed over on Nico Nico. [Thanks, Dual Shockers.]

 

Because some of the game takes place in Onimichi, a fishing town, the first video gives us a glimpse of how the ocean looks and behaves in the game. The other footage also shows off the way objects float in water, how clouds look and form, how liquids behave inside a glass, and more.
