Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Delayed, Aiming For A Release In First Half Of 2018

Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi announced in a recent update on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s Kickstarter page that the game is being delayed, and they’re aiming for a first half of 2018 release.

Bloodstained was initially expected to launch in March 2017. As IGA mentions in the video, the reason for the delay is to ensure quality standards, which he felt the game wouldn’t live up to it at the current rate they had going with the production set-up and release deadline. He has decided to add a new development team to the main production to improve their approach and stay on track on his vision. More information on that will be shared soon.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s release date isn’t set in stone, but they’re aiming for a release sometime for the first half of 2018.
