FunimationNow App Is Headed To The PlayStation Vita

Recommended Videos

FunimationNow offers a variety of applications that allow people to watch anime on various consoles, mobile devices, and streaming devices. However, it has yet to support any gaming handhelds. This will change in October 2016, as the official website announced a PlayStation Vita FunimationNow app will launch alongside one for the Apple TV.

This October will also bring with it improvements to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 FunimationNow apps. The website’s main page announces a general update to the consoles’ versions of the program, while its Faq says ad-supported viewing will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of FunimationNow. With ad-supported viewing, select anime episodes can be watched for free with ads. Ad-supported viewing will also be coming to Apple iOS, Android, and Roku devices.

FunimationNow is immediately available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360, as well as various mobile and streaming devices. A subscription is $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
