The Last Guardian Trailer And Screenshots Show How Active It Can Be

Recommended Videos

The Last Guardian is a little under a month away, and Sony has released new gameplay footage and screenshots that show the boy and Trico taking action. Players will have to do their best to help the duo escape the castle throughout the game, and some of the new images highlight the trust and interactions needed between the characters to make that happen.

The 30 second The Last Guardian trailer begins by showing the boy alone in the castle, highlighting his glowing tattoos. He wonder where he is. It then cuts to masked guards carrying Trico. From there, we see the two exploring and escaping the castle, many of the instances happening at a more frantic pace than in previous footage. At the 15 second mark, hostile versions of creatures similar to Trico appear.
