Nioh’s First Animated Story Trailer Released

Recommended Videos

Koei Tecmo has released quite a few Nioh trailers showing off gameplay and graphics, but has now released a story trailer. This animated video is the first in a series and begins by going over the story.

Nioh’s William is loosely inspired by William Adams, an English navigator who came to Japan in 1600 and became one of Tokugawa Ieyasu’s advisors and samurai. This animated segment introduces this William, Hattori Hanzo, and, at the very end, Ieyasu, and their quest to fight oni.

Nioh will come to the PlayStation 4 in North America on February 7, 2017, Europe on February 8, 2017, and Japan on February 9, 2017.
