More Mass Effect: Andromeda information has been trickling out over the past few days. The new details mainly have to do with the game’s release. Thanks to comments from Aaryn Flynn, BioWare’s general manager, Michael Gamble, the series’ producer, the official Twitter account, and Amazon, we have some initial reports concerning the game’s DLC, possible early access, and a tie-in product.

First, Mass Effect: Andromeda will not have a season pass. Flynn confirmed via Twitter that EA and BioWare will not offer one for the game. He also noted that details on DLC for the game will be discussed later.

Both Gamble and the Mass Effect series’ official account confirmed that there will be an early access period for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Xbox One owners with EA Access and PC players with Origin Access will both be able to play the game ahead of launch for a limited period of time. Previous Play First Trial Battlefield 1, FIFA 17, and Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst demos allowed people to play 10 hours worth of the game ahead of launch.

Amazon also has a listing up for a new Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector’s Edition. This $199.99 edition includes a remote control Nomad ND1 that’s inspired by the one used in the game and is driven with smart devices. This 1:18 remote controlled car has six wheel drive with front and rear steering, a built-in camera and LED lights, and a rechargeable battery. It also comes with a SteelBook case for Mass Effect: Andromeda, but doesn’t include a copy of the game.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America on March 21, 2017. It will arrive in Europe on March 23, 2017.
