After sharing the weekly data on video game software and hardware sales the other day, sales tracker Media Create has followed up with a bit on how Nintendo Switch pre-orders are going in Japan.

In the update, Media Create reports that this past week saw 20% less in both hardware and software sales compared to the same time last year. However, on the plus side, the Nintendo Switch pre-orders appear to be doing well according to the sales tracker, with a strong estimate of about 80% of the initial shipment in Japan already pre-ordered.

The Nintendo Switch launches worldwide on March 3, 2017.
