We’re still waiting to find out more about the Nintendo Switch’s online features, which is expected to be free until this fall when they’ll implement its pricing. In an interview with Nikkei, company president Tatsumi Kimishima shared more. [Thanks, @serkantoto.]

According to the company president, the Nintendo Switch’s online service is expected to be priced at “2-3,000 yen ($17.50 – $26.50) yearly.” Kimishima says that the yearly fees will make it easier for Nintendo to support online features such as multiplayer or downloads of classic games.

Kimishima also went on saying that Nintnedo is currently studying VR and will add VR to Switch once they figure out how users can play it for long periods of time without any problems.

Nintendo Switch launches worldwide on March 3, 2017. You can check out the console’s latest trailer here, or get an idea of how online features will work for games like Splatoon 2 here.
