NieR: Automata producer Yosuke Saito announced on his Twitter account that NieR: Automata has gone gold, in other words, it’s ready to be released on time.

According to Saito, NieR: Automata has already “gone gold” a good while ago, but he just wanted to announce it since it’s been a recent trend to do so. You can check out our previous report to hear more from the producer, Yoko Taro, and designer Takahisa Taura who answered some interesting questions from fans, including possibilities of a Nintendo Switch version and a remake of the original NieR.

NieR: Automata releases in Japan on February 23, North America on March 7, and Europe on March 10, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The PC version will be available sometime in 2017.
