What is probably the Nintendo 64’s best strategy game has come to the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console in North America. People can now find Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber on the Nintendo eShop.

Atlus brought Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber to North America back in October 2000. The third game in the series, it is a direct sequel to Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen and is set at the same time as Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. After Magnus Gallant graduates the Ischka Military Academy, he decides to join the Palatinean Revolutionary Army and help free Palatinus from the Holy Lodis Empire. In each fight, players participate in a real-time battle, controlling up to 50 troops divided into units. There are six different endings that can be earned, depending on players’ behavior and actions.

Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber is $9.99 on the Nintendo Wii U eShop.
