Ys VIII: Lacriimosa of Dana’s main attraction of its PS4 version is its improved frame rates and graphics, and Falcom shared a closer look at its smoother combat in a recent gameplay video.

The above video mostly shows Adol Christiand allies exploring the field and taking out various enemies. Most importantly, it shows us how the game runs on PlayStation 4, and the overall improvements are quite noticeable for those who’ve seen the PlayStation Vita version in motion.

Ys VIII releases in North America and Europe in 2017 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. It’ll come with both English and Japanese voiceover.
