Castlevania is getting a a new animated series on Netflix and producer Adi Shankar shared a first look at its poster on his official Facebook page.
As previously detailed, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantassy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.
The animated series is being created by Federator Studios, written by comic book icon Warren Ellis, and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert, and Adi Shankar.
No further details are known for the time being, but the Castlevania show’s Season 1 Part 1 is expected to release on Netflix in 2017.
