People who signed up for the Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer tech test will not be receiving invitations to begin playing. BioWare has announced it has canceled the beta, even though PAX East 2017 will still have live multiplayer demos available.
BioWare’s Fernando Melo, Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Producer, took to Twitter to offer more details on why the multiplayer tech test will not be happening. He noted that BioWare felt it was the right decision, considering how close the game is to launching, and mentioned previous testing done with on the multiplayer, the 2016 closed alpha. Melo also reminded people it will be at PAX East 2017 and be part of the EA Access and Origin Access early play opportunities on March 16, 2017. Finally, he shared an image offering a look at the multiplayer character selection, in which players can see a Human Female Vanguard who is level 7, has 505 health, 250 shield, a +10% Max Health bonus stat, and the Charge, Nova, and Shockwave skills.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America on March 21, 2017. It will arrive in Europe on March 23, 2017.
