Spike Chunsoft Localizing 428: Shibuya Scramble

428: Fusasareta Shibuya de is going to receive an English release. At GDC 2017, Spike Chunsoft announced 428: Shibuya Scramble will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PC in Spring 2018. Abstraction Games will be handling the port, while Kajiya Productions will be working on the localization.

 

A sound novel, 428: Shibuya Scramble is a visual novel where actual actors, live action footage, and pictures are used as background for an intertwining story. There are over 50 possible endings as players follow five characters who are all stuck in Shibuya for ten hours after a girl is kidnapped and held for ransom.

428: Shibuya Scramble originally appeared on the Nintendo Wii in Japan in 2008. It was ported to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable a year later. Then, in 2011, it was released on Android and Apple iOS devices.
