Silicon Studio Hopes To Strengthen Ties With Nintendo Using Next-Gen Engine “Xenko”

Computer graphics technology company Silicon Studio, known for making various middleware software as well as games like the Bravely series, reiterated their support for the Nintendo Switch.

 

The company announced on their website that they will support the Nintendo Switch with the middleware YEBIS, all-in-one game engine OROCHI that has over 40 development tools, and the upcoming next-generation game engine “Xenko” that is expected to release in April 2017.

 

With the combined technology and knowhow of both companies, Silicon Studio and Nintendo, they hope to provide a new environment that will allow makers to create high-quality games in the future with ease as part of this new business opportunity.
