Battles Take A Toll On The Switch Version Of Dragon Quest Heroes II’s Frame Rate

Recommended Videos

Dragon Quest Heroes I & II recently released for the Switch in Japan and Digital Foundry has shared a new video comparing the frame rate of the Switch version to the PlayStation 4 version.

Their results showed that, while the Nintendo Switch plays the game fairly similarly to the PS4, Nintendo’s console struggled, with the frame rate falling in battles. In addition, playing the Switch in portable mode worsened the frame rate performance further.

You can check out all of their findings in the following video.

Dragon Quest Heroes II will release in North America for the PlayStation 4 in North America on April 25th and in Europe on April 28th, 2017. A PC version will release worldwide on April 25th. Dragon Quest Heroes I is available for PlayStation 4 and PC now.
