Nintendo shared a new trailer for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch that gives us an overview of all the new things we’ll see in the upcoming version, featuring new characters, courses, new mode, and more.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe boasts more courses than any other Mario Kart game in the past with a total of 48 courses. For beginners of the series, there’s a new “Handle Assist Function” that allows you to freely drive without ever falling off the course, which you can check out at the 2:04 mark.

At 2:22 we see the different ways the game can be played on Switch. Then at 2:55 the video focuses on its many modes and a new “Piranha Plants vs. Spies” that is basically like Cops and Robbers, except the “Cops” have Piranha Plants to catch the Spies that have blue flags.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe releases worldwide on April 28, 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
