Those excited for the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire demo can get to downloading without delay, if they have a Japanese eShop account added to their system. The trial has been added to the overseas online store and can be immediately downloaded. [Update: It is now available in all regions.]

Even though the Japanese version of the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire will be downloaded, the demo will be entirely in English when used on an American system. It is 408MB and, if opened, will tell you the trial hasn’t begun yet.

The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire will run from March 24-26, 2017. There will be six opportunities to sample the online multiplayer during this event.

Splatoon 2 will come to the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2017.
