Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash released yesterday in Japan and series producer Kenichiro Takaki shared on Twitter that the game has topped 10,000 downloads on its launch day.
Here’s what the boobie producer said:
“While it is partially because the first batch from retail has sold out, but downloads have topped 10,000 in the launch date alone!! Amazing! I’m grateful!”
“The final sales figures are usually about three times as much as its opening after gradually selling over a period of time. The first week of retail for games is basically its lifeline, so I’m truly grateful for this.” #Senrankagura”
If you go back a couple years, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus also sold 10,000 units of its digital version, after the game saw a sell-through of 80-90% for retail, selling a combined total of 84,895 in its debut.
Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is available on PlayStation 4 in Japan. The game is getting three more characters with guests from Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 with Honoka, Marie Rose, and Ayane. In case you missed it, Nitroplus mascot Super Sonico will join, too.
