Casual Bit Games’ Ghosts n’ Goblins-inspired title, Battle Princess Madelyn, has officially reached its Kickstarter initial funding goal of $45,000. In only five days, the game met its goal and has since surpassed it, doubling it to reach its $100,000. The game only has two more funding goals left with $125,000 and $150,000 shown on the Kickstarter page and 24 days remaining to reach them.

Battle Princess Madelyn follows the story of Madelyn as she journeys to rescue her kidnapped family and avenge her murdered dog, Fritzy, the ghost of which aids her in her quest. Madelyn has access to ten different weapons which are scattered throughout each stage in the game, and she wears a suit of loosley-fitting armor which only takes one hit to knock off of her, challenging players to play more carefully.

Battle Princess Madelyn will release for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, and Nintendo Switch later this year. You can read more about the game in our earlier report.
