When Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix released in Japan it got a patch to fix some problems and Square Enix announced that the Western release will get the fix as a day one patch.
Here’s the message that was shared on Kingdom Hearts’ official Twitter account:
#KH Community, thanks for your questions! We’re addressing various issues before the game releases on Mar 28th (NA) & Mar 31st (EU). (1/2)

For NA and EU players, a Day 1 patch will be available at launch to match the JP update. We’ll keep an eye out for additional notes. (2/2)

The patch fixes various damage and meter bugs as well as various other that are in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is available in Japan for PlayStation 4. The game releases in North America on March 28 and Europe on March 31, 2017.
