The video starts out with Executive Producer Jun Takeuchi, who talks about starting off by thinking who to assign to the team. For the most important position, the director, he went with Koshi Nakanishi, who worked on the Revelation series. The reason being was that Capcom had the concept of returning to survival horror roots with Resident Evil 7.

He also goes on about how Resident Evil 6 was a great game with heroic characters that made fans happy, but there were a lot of voices saying they wanted to play a survival horror game again, and this was a sentiment that was shared among the development team as well. For this reason, Takeuchi knew right away to go with Nakanishi as the director.

Resident Evil 7 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
