NieR: Automata PC Receives Fan-Made Lighting Performance Fix

Recommended Videos

Some users have reported problems with the PC version of NieR: Automata. These issues may include the game running below 60FPS and a full-screen resolution upscaling bug. However, a fan-made fix from Kaldaien is currently in a beta phase and should repair both issues.

Kaldaien’s FAR (Fix Automata Resolution) is on version 0.1.2 and addresses both issues. People need simply grab the automated installer, install it, then begin playing NieR: Automata. When in-game, people with FPS issues should press Control, Shift, and Backspace at the same time to adjust the settings, then head into global illumination to adjust it to your liking. Note that you will have to readjust the global illumination setting via this method each time you play.

NieR: Automata is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
