During today’s Vol. 4 of Level-5’s Inazuma Walker live stream series, we got a first look at two new characters set to appear in the upcoming game and anime, Inazuma Eleven Ares.
The first is a character named “Jou Muhyou,” a play on the word of “Muhyoujou” which means deadpan or expressionless, which suits his personality. He was designed by a fan who goes by Omeme.
Next is “Ponko” (female) designed by Koromo-san. Ponko is actually a real tanuki that often transforms into a human and also likes to play pranks. She’s able to trick opponents by transforming back and forth into a tanuki while dribbling the ball.
The platform for Inazuma Eleven Ares has yet to be announced, but we got a glimpse of the game back in December. It is also getting an anime to go with the game.
