D3 Publisher hosted its latest official live stream for Earth Defense Force 5, where a new trailer was shared, further demonstrating the troops’ battle against aliens.
The trailer starts out with a look inside the EDF base, where we can see a little demonstration on its weapons. The trailer is done in news report style, we get to see a little behind-the-scenes talk with a Ranger, who was “the guy that was previously assaulted by an alien but was saved by EDF and decided to join.”
The footage also demonstrates various vehicles that we’ll get to use in the battle, which range from motorcycles to tanks and helicopters. We then get to see an Air Raider show off his moves as well as more from the Wing Diver, Ranger, and the new Fencer class.
Earth Defense Force 5 releases in Japan in Summer 2017 for PlayStation 4.
