Splatoon 2 is adding new weapons and plenty of clothing options, but it’s also adding some interesting sub-weapons like the new “Poison Mist” that’ll come with weapons like the Blaster, which is also making a return.
The Poison Mist is a new sub-weapon that leaves a mist of poison around the area for a short period of time, affecting enemies who move into it. Not only does it slow you down enemies as if they’re in the other team’s ink color, but it also gradually takes away their ink. The effect that takes away their ink increases the longer they stay in.
The above is a look at the powerful Blaster weapon that is making a return in Splatoon 2. It previously had the Disruptor sub-weapon and Killer Wail special weapon, but these have been changed to the Poison Mist sub-weapon and the Splashdown special weapon.
Splatoon 2 releases on July 21, 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
