Windjammers Set For August 29, 2017

Windjammers has a release date. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game will launch on August 29, 2017. It will offer local and online multiplayer, with GGPO netcode and a Ranked Mode for people who want to take things seriously. Fangamer and Wham-O will have frisbees, hats, pins, and t-shirts available on launch day.

In addition to the release date, DotEmu has released a new trailer for Windjammers. It goes over the game’s six characters, in case you aren’t familiar with H. Mita, K. Wessel, J. Costa, G. Scott, L. Biaggi, and S. Miller.

Windjammers originally appeared in arcades and on the Neo Geo and Neo Geo CD.
