Bandai Namco shared the latest on their upcoming Dark Souls-style PS4, Xbox One, and PC action game Code Vein with new character info in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]
Mia Karnstein (CV: Ai Kayano)
A female vampire (Revenant) who wanders with her younger brother in search for the land of “Vein.” She’d do anything to protect her last remaining family, including fight other Revenants.
Mia’s weapon of choice is a bayonet-style weapon that can also attack from a distance. The Blood Veil she uses, called “Stinger,” is shaped like a tail and has long reach.
Yakumo Shinonome (CV: Kosuke Toriumi)
A former mercenary. Yakumo is a faithful man who takes good care of others. He’s loved by others and shows a cool professional side while in combat. His weapon of choice is a sword that has the shape of a giant blade. He uses a Blood Veil called “Hounds.” It works by turning his jacket hem into something that’s like a wolf’s head, which can then be used for short-ranged attacks.
Code Vein releases in early 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
