Trophies For A Free Version Of The Very First Dragon Quest Appear For PS4 In Japan

Recommended Videos

All the talk is about the recently released Dragon Quest XI right now, but new trophies have surfaced for the very first Dragon Quest on PS4 in Japan.

What’s interesting about the listing is that it shows the first Dragon Quest and its logo as well as “Free Version” next to the name of the title. Since you can’t get trophies from a demo, it looks like it could be a full release title for free, with perhaps some kind of catch.

Dragon Quest first released in Japan on the Famicom in May 1986. It released in the West as Dragon Warrior in August 1989 for the NES.
