Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal Announced For PlayStation 4 As A New 3D Action Remake

Marvelous and Honey ∞ Parade Games announced Senran Kagura Burst: Re:Newal, an upcoming PS4 remake of the 2012 action game Senran Kagura Burst on 3DS.   The original Senran Kagura Burst was a side-scroller action game, but Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal will be a full 3D action game with updated graphics and gameplay features.   The gameplay is made to suit the more recent Senran Kagura games, and its development is about 30% complete. All the story elements from Senran Kagura Burst will be shown in the Re:Newal, with some more to be announced later.   There will be a limited edition “Nyuu Nyuu DX Pack” with a special box, booklet, drama CD, original packaging, a set of 6 character pair Lover’s Straps, and a special DLC illustration card.   Yumi will also be a playable character in the game as a limited edition bonus. While she didn’t have a story in the original game, in Senran Kagura Re:Newal we’ll see her in a side story that tells us what she was up to during the events of the game.   Lastly, first-print bonus includes a special set of DLC “Forbidden Fruit Cutie Peach & Melon” costumes on an illustration card.   Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal releases in Japan on February 22, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
