Watch Mario Kart Wii’s Unused Mission Mode

When Mario Kart DS was released, it introduced a feature called Mission Mode. It had seven levels, each with eight missions and one boss battle. It is the only known Mario Kart installment with such a mode, until now. MrBean35000vr has discovered a Mission Mode in Mario Kart Wii. It is unfinished and incomplete content found in the game’s code.

MrBean35000vr simulated the existence of the file with the missing files and data. This allowed some of Mario Kart Wii’s Mission Mode unused materials to be shown. In a video that discusses how the content was covered and shows the preliminary items, we can see some of the tasks that might have been considered and included. Among them are objectives like killing enemies, performing wheelies, collecting item boxes, and drifting for points.

Mario Kart Wii was released on the Nintendo Wii in 2008.
