Rocket League Has Mario And Samus Cars On The Nintendo Switch

When the Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League was announced, Nintendo-themed accessories and cars were teased. Now, a trailer has been released that shows off these three free vehicles. The console’s exclusive Battle Cars are the Mario NSR, Luigi NSR, and Samus Gunship.

In an interesting twist, which team you are on in Rocket League changes the appearance of the cars. Orange team members with the NSR or Gunship will see their Battle Cars looking like the Mario NSR and standard Samus Gunship. If someone is on the Blue team, the NSR will look like the Luigi NSR and Samus Gunship will have a Varia suit-inspired appearance. Each of these cars have exclusive accessories, with the Mario and Luigi NSRs getting Super Star Rocket Boosts (shown in the screenshot above) and Samus Gunship getting a Wave Beam Rocket Boost (shown in the screenshot below). There will also be Mario and Luigi hats as toppers, which can be used with any non-licensed cars
