Ghosts of Miami takes players to the height of the cocaine epidemic, casting them as private eye Chelo Martínez. As Chelo, players will comb the sunswept beaches and posh night clubs of 1986 Miami, solving five different cases as they see fit, choosing where to search, how to deal with witnesses, and who to call for help when things get dangerous.

As Chelo works to solve each of the game’s crimes, she will meet many different characters along the way. Players can choose to work these relationships into something more, but each case can only be solved in a limited time. Should player spend a little too much time on love, the criminals they’re supposed to be looking for may be able to get away. It will be up to the player to not only decide what to do with their time, but try to juggle things so that their investigations and personal lives don’t get in the way of one another.

Ghost of Miami’s animated trailer introduces players to many of the characters that they will be able to meet and grow closer to, as well as some of the witnesses and other officers who may give them a hard time. All of this is done with an 80’s television intro style, working to draw players into the setting and feeling of the era before they play.

Ghosts of Miami is available now on Itch.io and Steam.
