Save Me Mr. Tako: Tasukete Tako San Heading To The Switch And PC

Christophe Galati and Nicalis have announced an important Save Me Mr. Tako: Tasukete Tako San update. It is now heading to both the Nintendo Switch and PC. First announced back in 2014, it follows a pacifist octopus in a world where humans and octopi are constantly at one another’s throats. It is inspired by the Game Boy, which means the color palettes are inspired by and its character sprites and soundtrack are designed to meet the original system’s specifications.

In Save Me Mr. Tako: Tasukete Tako San, players help Mr. Tako learn more about humans. After he saves a woman, a fairy gives him the ability to walk on land. This means he has the opportunity to journey through six worlds and their 16 dungeons to help learn more about and save humans. There are 50 hats with special powers to use and 19 bosses to fight. If successful, Mr. Tako may be able to help end the human/octopus war.
