Cave Story+ On Nintendo Switch Will Get Its Local 2-Player Co-op On September 15

Nicalis announced back in May that Cave Story+ on the Nintendo Switch is getting local co-op as a free update in late summer, and the developer announced that it arrives on September 15.

 

Here’s a glimpse at the new local co-op action in Cave Story+ from Nicalis’ recent tweet:

 

Cave Story+ is available for the Nintendo Switch. Cave Story released on Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and PC but so far the local co-op is exclusive to Cave Story+ on Switch.
