River City Melee: Battle Royal Special is getting a worldwide release. H2 Interactive is bringing the Arc System Works game to PCs on September 14, 2017. People can find it on Steam. It will have a one week long 10% launch discount, and people who also own River City Super Sports Challenge: All Star Special on Steam will get an additional 10% discount.
In River City Melee: Battle Royal Special, players follow teams as they participate in battle royals. There are 25 teams total, with one being Nekketsu High School led by Kunio-kun. People can play alone, following one of these 25 storylines, Free Battle with up to four friends under conditions they set, or go online with the Multiplayer mode. Once in the arena, people will be able to use new skills and attacks, such as throwing items or using Giant Swing, and perform Super Rage Arts after taking enough damage. It offers local and online multiplayer and will have Steam Achievements and Cloud support.
