Splatoon 2 Getting Kelp Dome And Snapper Canal Maps

Recommended Videos

Multiple free additions were announced for Splatoon 2 during the Nintendo Direct. Two new maps and a new weapon are on the way. The Kelp Dome and Snapper Canal are the new stages, and the Tenta Brella will offer a way to give people even more coverage.

The Kelp Dome is coming to Splatoon 2 on September 15, 2017. This new version of it has extra grates. More turf has been to each side too.

Snapper Canal is a map that will have a river running through the center. You have to find ways to get across the river safely to the opposing side.

Finally, a Tenta Brella is a new take on the Brella. It still acts as a shotgun, like the original. However, this one offers far more protection from incoming ink. Its subweapon has yet to be revealed, but the video shows it has the Bubble Blower special weapon.

Splatoon 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch.
