Tokimeki Memorial Goes Idolmaster With Tokimeki Idol This Winter In Japan For Smartphones

We haven’t seen a Tokimeki Memorial game since 2014 and the series that started out as a popular dating sim is getting a new idol game this winter in Japan for smartphones, called Tokimeki Idol. Konami opened a new teaser site that gives us a closer look.   Here’s a look at the game’s first trailer.   Tokimeki Idol is an idol communication game where you’ll live together with 15 girls belonging to a music institute as you help them achieve their dreams.   This new development for the TokiMemo series is built on the concept of gaining a “Tokimeki” (Heartbeat Memorial) from spending your everyday with the girls who are aiming to become idols.   A part of the game supports mobile VR, and it can be played using any mobile VR goggle.   More will be showcased during a stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2017 Konami booth on September 24, where creators and voice actresses will be making an appearance.   Pre-registrations are now live on the game’s official website.   Tokimeki Idol is in development for iOS and Android.
