Square Enix recently registered Final Fantasy IX for PlayStation 4 in Europe on the Pan European Game Information board, or PEGI. The classic PlayStation RPG saw a port release last year on smartphones and PC, and we can expect to hear it get announced for the PS4 sometime in the near future. Final Fantasy IX released in 2000 for PlayStation. It is also available on iOS, Android, and PC.
