Spelunker Party! has finally appeared on Nintendo Switch systems worldwide. To help celebrate its debut and educate potential players, Square Enix has released a launch trailer that goes over exactly how this single or multiplayer game can play. Basically, it is designed to show off solo play, four player multiplayer, pet functionality, and all sorts of hazards.
The trailer begins with some typical exploration elements. You may have to deal with bats, ghosts, lava, moving platforms, snakes, and spiders while exploring. When working together, you may be able to reach different spaces due to some being able to throw various switches. Different kinds of equipment can be collected and worn, with various effects. Pets can help you as you go along, with a dog possibly digging up items as an example.
