Atelier Lydie & Suelle’s Development Complete; Adds Hagel, Pamela Ibis, And Corneria

Gust and Koei Tecmo shared the latest on Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists of the Mysterious Paintings with new returning characters as well as an update on the game’s development.

 

Here are details on the three new returning characters:

  • Hagel Boldness: the recurring character in the Atelier series, will once again make an appearance as a blacksmith.

 

  • Pamela Ibis: Another recurring character in the Atelier series. She’ll work at a church in Atelier Lydie & Suelle.

 

  • Corneria: In Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, Corneria got slightly shorter in height each time she used her power to duplicate items. This time it appears that she’ll instead become larger when using her power.

 

As for the development update, Koei Tecmo said “Development has completed!”  That said, it may be the first new Atelier game in a while to not get delayed.

Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists of the Mysterious Paintings releases in Japan on December 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The game releases in North America and Europe,in early 2018 alongside a PC release.
