The Last Story On The Last Stage Of Development

Nintendo and Mistwalker unveiled The Last Story just a few months ago. Surprise! It’s almost done.

“Development of The Last Story is at last at the finale,” Hironobu Sakaguchi blogged presumably from Tokyo. “The tense feeling is pleasant.”

While the game is nearing completion, we still haven’t seen any screenshots of The Last Story. Art for ships, an island, and a star gazing tower have been released, but nothing from the game. The Last Story is slated for a release this year in Japan. Mistwalker’s first Wii game stars a hero and heroine with a metaphorical wall between them.
