Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Launch Trailer Shows Snippets Of Rex And Pyra’s Journey

The day has arrived. The Nintendo Switch has received its first first-party RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles 2. To celebrate and help people prepare, Nintendo has released a launch trailer. This almost three minute long video looks at the games’ characters, locations, battles, and blades.

 

In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, players follow a young man named Rex who finds and befriends a Blade named Pyra. She asks him to take her to Elysium. A difficult feat, since it is a rather legendary place and apparently everyone is after this Blade. Things are also made more complicated when it is revealed that Blades’ memories can be erased.

 

 

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch.
