Ubisoft Appears To Be Teasing Chocobos For Assassin’s Creed: Origins

An update regarding Assassin’s Creed: Origins DLC via the official Ubisoft website has hinted at an unexpected collaboration. It appears that Final Fantasy’s chocobo will be added to the game as a mount. A gif showing chocobo tail feathers is shown after noting “a new surprise quest” will be among the December 2017 additions. No further details or images have been announced.

This is not the first time Assassin’s Creed and Final Fantasy were mashed up. On August 30, 2017, the Assassin’s Festival event was added to Final Fantasy XV. This event, which is running until January 31, 2018, allows people to participate in Assassin’s Creed-inspired activities in its own little chapter and get Master Assassin’s Robes for Final Fantasy XV’s cast.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
