Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has been available for the Nintendo Switch since June 2017, but a special version of the game will be hitting store shelves in North America next year. The Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Day One Edition will arrive in Spring 2018. This will mark the first time the game will be available physically for the Nintendo Switch. In Europe, this special edition will be available for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Spring 2018.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Day One Edition will be a product with a limited run and only be available in select, as-yet-unnamed stores. For $39.99, you get a copy of the game, the Risky Beats 30-track CD soundtrack, an art book, and the Costume Mode, Friends Mode, and Pirate Queen’s Quest add-ons.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
