Team Ninja Thanks Fans For Supporting Dead or Alive 5; Dead or Alive Team Is “Very Active”

Unfortunately there wasn’t a new title announcement after the “Battle Royal 2017” Grand Finals at NEC18 this weekend, but Team Ninja shared a video message thanking fans for supporting Dead or Alive 5.

After five years and hundreds of DLC costumes, the Dead or Alive 5 series has officially come to an end. Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi, Dead or Alive art director Yutaka Saito, and director Yohei Shimbori thanked fans.

A new title wasn’t announced, but this is basically an official end to Dead or Alive 5. Yosuke Hayashi also mentioned that while Dead or Alive 5 has come to an end, the Dead or Alive team is very active, so we hope that it won’t be too long until hearing about a new title for the series.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
