Super Mario Odyssey Surpasses 1 Million In Japanese Sales; Switch Reaches 2.98 Million In Japan

Since its launch in back in October 27, Super Mario Odyssey has sold over one million units in in Japan, where almost 3 million Nintendo Switch units have sold according to Famitsu’s tracker.

 

To be more precise, Famitsu has exactly 1,055,806 units of Super Mario Odyssey sales in Japan, not including digital sales. As for the Nintendo Switch console, it is currently at 2,988,399 units sold from its March 3 launch to December 17, 2017.

 

We can expect to see these numbers continue rising as Japan’s strongest months in both hardware and software sales are December and January.
