12 Fans Make A Kid Icarus Remake As A School Project

Recommended Videos

An official Kid Icarus game has not been released since Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS, but a group of fans have put together a remake of the original NES game as a school project. Twelve people came together to create a 10-20 minute demonstration that reimagines the original game as a 3D platformer. (Thanks, USGamer!)

This Kid Icarus unofficial fan-remake is rather limited. There are only two kinds of enemies and four arenas. However, it does give Pit quite a bit of freedom when using his bow, as it can defeat enemies or trigger switches. He also still retains his fluttering ability.

A seven minute trailer goes over the fans’ work and shows what the reimagined area looks like.

This fan-made Kid Icarus remake demo is available for PCs and is a 790MB download.
